ECF Summer Spectacular Show

Shout out to Hayley Pelton, Haley Harris, and Abigail Followwill who showed THREE of the SCI horses at our Summer Spectacular WE show! Hayley has been doing a stellar job bringing Cochise back to “show shape” after his surgeries last year. He is almost 20yrs old and we couldn’t be more proud the progress they have made! Haley Harris brought Monterey back to the WE arena after 4+ years of not showing! He has been busy being our dream ECF “guest horse”, giving lessons to our visitors and to the grandkids but after HaleyH. started riding him under Hayley P’s instruction it was clear they were a great fit!

It was a weekend if multi-tasking as all three of us were running the show AND competing in it. There was a handful of unexpected challenges over the weekend but our team dealt with them gracefully and “in stride”.

Here are some of the highlights.

ChaCha was firing on all cylinders and had great rides in all three phases. She was overall champion in Novice A and Open High Point Champion for the whole show. She is a little firecracker!

Cochise showed off his fancy moves and placed 3rd in Novice A dressage in one of the largest classes we’ve had!

Monterey nailed his dressage test and came in 2nd in a large Introductory class! He struggled with a few of the obstacles but Haley did a great job navigating the course (it was her first horse show ever!)

So cheers to teamwork and to the horses that have brought us all together!
